Serving Anchorage, Alaska

Anchorage citizens have worked together for more than a year to establish an affiliate of the National Urban League. Our efforts finally came to fruition in November 2006, with the approval of our affiliate application by the national review board. We are currently organizing to implement our initial programs beginning in 2007.
Young Professionals
National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) is a network of young professionals, across the country who provide leadership development, economic empowerment and community volunteer opportunities for other young professionals. The organization trains, develops, and educates young professionals to take leadership roles within the National Urban League, the civil rights movement, and society-at-large. Members of NULYP are defining, developing, implementing, and leading the next generation civil rights agenda. Young Professional is inclusive to mean "good at what you do."
